Scarlet rumped tanager in Costa Rica

This was an elusive bird, but finally enticed him long enough to get a shot of his rump and those brilliant red feathers.

I have been out of the country for the past three months (January-March); but I am back now and hope to be displaying a lot of the pictures I took in Costa Rica.
